Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
Steinbeck is like legendary! Of Mice and Men is one of my all time favourite books!! He also wrote the Grapes of Wrath which I am yet to read, but I bet it'll good :)


My Place by Sally MorganThis is like an autobiography about an aboriginal girl and her life, it's very interesting and quite sad!!


The Wave by Todd Strasser
This novel is hell cool/freaky at the same time! It's about this history class doing an experiment about dictatorship, it's so very interesting but kinda weird and freaky at the same time.


And there is of course the Harry Potter Series :P I can't be stuffed putting a picture of it. There is a lot more that I really can't remember right now cause my brain has turned to mush! Supposedly the Twighlight Series is very good too, but the plot seems to corny for me. It's definately not for the boys, cause its about a chick falling in love with a vampire. One day i might read it, when i feel like reading corny love vampire stories haha!

back in ye ol' days.

Well hello there, long time no blog.

It's mainly because I have a very very boring life. All I ever do is; eat,sleep,school,homework,study,tv and computer. Next Saturday should be good cause we're(Mel, Rach, Ash, Jen and I) going to Caro then back to Ash's house to watch the footy(which we will most probably get belted in, but oh well!) and we will RELAX. A well deserved relaxing day seeing as I have 3 tests during the week(Intro-Tuesday, Chem-Thursday and Physics-Friday) and Rach and Ash have 4(same as me but Chem-Monday and G&T-Thursday). The last time we went to Ash's place we had a very very long bitch session in her room, twas good :) Can't wait for Sat!! It is very much needed!

On Sunday I will probably go to Viv's place as well, seeing as we haven't seen each other for donkey years and need to release steam!! Hrm I wonder if i should walk to her place after tuition...Save the rentals petrol and the environment :)

I have the sudden urge to read childhood books. You remember those books for back in ye ol' days that you loved. Roald Dahl was a legend man, my faves were;

And who can forget Enid Blyton's kick ass books!

I also loved The Baby-Sitters Club Series...Oh the shame! haha. I also converted quite a few people into liking it as well :D And I read like ALL the ones in our school library, but i don't think i've read the whole series :P
Man I love books! I remember my mummy use to take me and my brother to the library like every week and i'd take out like 10 books (which was the maximum!). I stopped going when I went to high school, cause it's not "cool" to go to the library! It didn't help that they built a freaking skate park next to it so all the "cool" kids could see you!! Haha, now I don't care if they see me, but I still don't often because I get books off my english teacher :) Maybe next post I will talk about books I love now!! Yes, I am a bookworm/nerd/ dork/ geek/ fool. I'm proud of it :)

Fake Friends.

I've noticed lately that a lot of my mate are very very fake. It shits me.
I've been drifting away from my good mates at school cause they have been so immature lately. I don't know if it's just me growing up or them getting more immature, but it shits me.

Not only am I growing away from my close group, it just seems to be everyone in the extended group :P (My group i sit with at school is split into two) Ugh. But it's not just them it's 99.9% of my mates, in or out of school whateverrr.

It makes me appreciate Jen so much more :)
I can't wait to graduate from high school. Then hopefully go to uni, then graduate from uni, then get a kick ass job in a Europe and live there forever and ever and become a millionbazilliongazillionaire.

Then I won't have to face these fake friends :) :) :)

blah blah blah. I am so very bored right now. The opening ceremony for the Olympics is on, and it's getting boring cause its just there showing the countries now and Australia is 3rd last!!!

It's finally the weekend :) And i have nothing planned :( More homework...I need to go out and buy lots and lots of presents for people. Four mates and a brother have their birthday in August, so 5 presents! I need to do my tax return to get my money back so i can spend it on these people! I also need to buy boardies cause i'm going to Adventure World at the end of the term for physics :)

Man i am really really bored! I will most probably be bored for the rest of the weekend too, seeing as I've nearly finished My Place by Sally Morgan i will have no books to read. But I could steal my brothers books...

Today was one of the best days of yr 11! Cause 4 periods(English, Intro, Econs and P&L) i slacked, in english the teacher doesn't care what we do as long as we hand in our stuff on time(our film review is due next friday), in Intro we had a relief, in P&L we had no teacher :P and in Econs we had a relief. And my other 2 periods (Chem and Physics) were very very productive, and i did lots and lots of work in physics without getting stuck :D

Econs was the best class though, cause me and two mates just bitched and gossiped! It was hell good. Found out a lot about other peoples "issues" :P Best econs session ever!

Anyways I'm off now to die of boredum.

Well today was the derby, not my preferred outcome :P
But I had to go to tuition first and the derby was aired at 3pm and tuition finished at 3.30 :( And to make matters worse people had to photocopy two pages from my book cause they all use a different one and then the stupid lady was doing other things and it took like 10mintues to photocopy 2 pages for 4 people!!!

I walked outside of the tuition place (while on the phone to melissa complaining about the slow people and so she could tell me the score :P) there was this big white board that said THE DERBY and stuff about how its screening in the room and stuff and i was like OH MY GOSH. So I turned around and saw this HUGE projection of the game in this really dark room! So I stood there watching through the glass door :P Then this lady came up to the door, dunno why. But she saw me and smiled and opened the door and said "You should come in and support the eagles!" (i was wearing my eagles scarf at the time :P) So i walked went in to watch the lovely game for a while, then the slow people gave me my book back and i ran out to the car and told dad to DRIVE! haha.

Footy is so lovely. It brings people together. That lady invited me in to watch even though she knew nothing about me because I was an eagles supporter! I've had many comments/guestures made to me when i've been wearing eagles gear (scarf, guernsey or whatever eagles gear!) none have been negative, the closest thing to a comment being rude/negative was "You're wearing the wrong colours" :P And the person who said it to me didn't know me either! Of course there have been negative comments and guestures, like my mate little cousin getting pie thrown at him, but i have never experienced it. Then there was the person on the train when it was going past me to stop and Rach, Kavi and I were going on the train to get to the game, he did the thumbs up sign to us! And soo much more. Man i love footy.

howdily ho neighbourino's!

Well tis the lovely weekend now :) The week went by awfully quickly! So it's week 3 of term 3 on monday, by golly how time flies! This week I'm not THAT bombarded with homework, but I really want to finish it all off today so I can RELAX on sunday. Tell you what's also on sunday, THE DERBY and....IT'S ON A 20 MINUTE DELAY, boo youu channel 7 BOOOO!! Good news is that I finish tuition at 3 and it starts at 3, so I should be able to get home just in time to watch it all :D

On wednesday i got my report, seems i got 2 more B's than expected!

I've been getting sooo much crap from mum now saying that "it's not good enough lalalalala blah blah blah blah blah blah" All i hear is "BLAH BLAH BLAAA LALALA BLAH BLAH ANDY DID BETTER THAN THAT BALH BALH BAHKAJDFIANFDAKLD IT'S CAUSE YOU'VE GOT A SMALL HEAD FKJDAIFDJAFKLAJIFJADKFJA"

haha :) And she says it to me like 5 times a day, so i have decided to give her the silent treatment, CAUSE HER COMPLAINING ISN'T GOING TO HELP ME. Man i probably spend half my life giving the silent treatment to my mum, boy i can't wait till i move out :)

Anyways sorry about the short boring post.
I must be off now and go do my homework!
