Talking to a person I just met and a mate on msn.
That's how I welcomed my 17th birthday.
12AM on the dot, vbanger wished me happy birthday, with many other birthday wishes coming from other mates. I'm going to honest with you; I teared up.

Why did I go all pansy and tear up? Well, this year I decided not to celebrate or care about my birthday. Why? I have absolutely NO idea, maybe it's because I don't see it as being a significant part of a life or because I always get disappointed on my birthday and have a shit day.

But these people who took a little bit of time out of their day to wish me happy birthday really made my day. Just a simple little thing made me beyond estatic :)

Today wasn't a disappointment nor was it a significant part of my life; it was a day in which I turned a year older, took a break from the studying life and met up with my lovely Jen (whom I haven't seen since November last year). It was a good day.

& now i'm here spending the last few hours of my birthday on the internet, while eating poprocks and a lollipop. I can't think of anything better to be doing :)

p.s Thank you Nuffnang for the He's Just Not That Into You tickets, they were put too good use today.

my oh my tis been a very long time since i've blogged!
So much has happened since I last blogged, too much infact...

I have;
+ found out that high altitude likes to bully me and make me puke on aeroplanes.
+ went to Malaysia-KL (for a stopover!)
+ went to China
+ brought an awesome ball dress for $50AUD! :D
+ caught bird flu/sars/died from melamine poisoning, haha I kid.
+ went to a hot spring; my first time!
+ lost an earing.
+ saw the hottest asian guy I've ever seen. HE HAD THE NICEST NOSE! & damn he was hot.
+ was hit on by an indian (i think?) guy at the airport in China; that bloke made my day!
+ spent 8hrs in the dodgy KL budget airport.
+ puked some more.
+ moved schools.
+ moved schools again (back to my old one; long story!)
+ was in a huge pickle
+ resolved the huge pickle
+ survived year 12, so far :D
+ my L permit expired, therefore I can't drive until I renew it :(


So much to blog about, so little timee. It's a long weekend this weekend, but I will be spending monday doing homework, yayy...

he's just not that into you.

As a child and even now i've been surrounded by men/boys/teenage boys/guys/dudes.
In one word;
Male homosapiens

Nearly all my family friends have SONS. So at parties there would be a million boys (slight exaggeration) and then me, the ONLY girl. I grew up roughhousing with the boys, playing street cricket with my brother/neighbour, playing xbox/gamecube/playstation/wii with the guys, getting picked on by the guys, okay I think you get the picture. Now I'm not complaing about my childhood with the boys. In face looking back on it; I LOVED IT! It's made me who I am today (not a hugeee girly girl; thank goodness).

But in 16 nearly 17 years of being surrounded by guys I still know NOTHING about them. Except for all that sterotypical stuff about not getting between a man and his sport (heck don't even get between me and my footy or i'll knock you down like a fat kid rolling down a hill!) Having said all this let me share with you my top 5 tips of understanding men.

Here we go;

Lillian's Top 5 Tips of Understanding Men
1. Don't even bother trying to understand them
2. It is a waste of time
3. Go shopping instead!
4. & buy yourself a nice pair of shoes ;)
5. The best birthday gift to get a guy is a years subscription to Playboy magazine, unless he's gay then get him a years subscription to New Idea or Womens Day!

OH MY GOSH.
HELLO! I'M NOT DEAD!!!

Long story short my computer died 1 week before I went on holiday (middle of Jan) and now I finally have a new one :)
