back to school.

Well today was the third day of term 3 :( Man i really hate getting up in the morning! The bed is so warm and cosy, then when you get out of bed it's all cold and what's even worse is when you change out of your pj's into school uniform or whatever you are going to wear for the day, they are cold too :( I hate mornings!!!

I have noticed that during the holidays when i wake up and lay in my warm cosy bed it doesn't feel as good as when i wake up and lay in my warm cosy bed when i have school! :( Mel also agrees with me :P

I have also noticed that I have been given SOOO much homework this week! Next monday i also have 3 assesments/tests; a physics test on motion, a econs test on employment and inflation and an inclass essay for english. So much shit to do/study over the weekend. On sunday I am also starting this tuition class thingy for Intro. I don't understand why i'm doing it for intro cause that was my best class in semester one!

Ohh, we also have a new exchange student from Italy, and he's in my econs class. And supposedly we have a really hot french exchange student in year 10? But i've never seen him, i just heard that on the grapevine and don't really care about yr 10 kids :P

Lately i've been obessed with Jason Mraz! Well more like listen to his songs!! I had never heard of him till a week ago? And now i'm in love with his songs haha, Mel couldn't believe that i'd never heard of him and laughs at the fact that i am obssessed with him, but i just tell her that i'm making up for lost time ;)

I went to watch Batman today, finally :P IT WAS SOOOO GOOD. Definitely lived up to it's expectations. Heath Ledger's performance definitely lived up to the hype too. I just thought people were saying that because he had passed away, but he proved that he deserves all the praise! All the other actors were great too, a lot of the limelight is on Ledger's performance as The Joker but Christian Bale (Batman) was great yet again! I must admit i spent 3/4 (or more) of the movie with my hands up to my face nearly covering my eyes!! I thought it was quite scary beacuse of the suspense build ups. But overall it was FANTASTIC and i would recommend for you to watch :D I want to watch it again!!!!!!!

Our movie started at 11.45am, but we were waiting outside the cinema at 11.30am and the door was open, so we just walked in and watched the ending of the movie that was showing before Batman, which was Mongol i think? But there was like 3 people watching :P Mongol ran overtime so Batman started late, boo! But still it was worth the wait :D :D :D

The Batman movies always seem to have very good one liner quotes that stick with you. Such as, from Batman Begins;
"Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up again."
&
"It's not who you are inside, but what you do that defines you."

From The Dark Knight;
"Why so serious?" - Personally I loved it when The Joker said this.
&
"Some men aren't looking for anything logical, some men just want to watch the world burn."
&
"You either die a hero, or live long enough to become a villian"
These were the ones that stuck with me the most.

Michael Caine who plays Alfred(Batman's Butler) was probably the perfect person to play the role. Actually all the actor's who played their respective characters were perfect. Katie Holmes who played Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins wasn't that great. Maggie Gyllenhaal was a major improvement :) And of course there was Heath Ledger was The Joker, he was so psychopathic, intriguing and funny! See he was so good that you laugh with the bad villian!

Anyways i shan't say any more! That is my opinion, which is very similar to everyone else's because it was sooo good that we are all just in a state of shock :P So for those of you who haven't watched it, GO WATCH IT NOW, btw don't be stingy bastard and wait for it to come out on DVD, IT'S WORTH THE MONEY!!! Cinematic experience is best ;)

Anywayyy, we were contemplating whether to bus it or walk to Livo, and being the fit homosapiens we are, we walked all the way to and fro :)!

Then we cam home to my place, watched beloved Oprah and have been cam whoring for the past few hours :D:D

Well it is the holidays, FINALLY! Time to regroup, relax and reflect on my semester. I got my results back;
English - C (60)
Physics - C (56)
Intro - B (72)
Chemistry - C (55)
P&L - C
Econs - C (64) but it might be a B cause the teacher might have rounded me up :)

Well today i went to caro to get my dad a belated birthday present and also a little girls birthday present cause it's her birthday today. At rebel they had 30% off AFL merchandise so i got dad a freo jumper, saved about $16 :P I got the little girl a colouring book and a pencil case set thingy. Twas good fun, Rachl, Mel and I went to all the toy sales and got in touch with our inner child haha! Mel even brought the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man figurines, cause we have this personal joke amongst some of our friends! Cause there are theses two blokes who sit behind us in intro and I'm always really aggressive and mean to them, so they decided to call me Iron Woman and one day they kept thowing stuff at Mel so she got pissed at them. So they decided to call her The Incredible Mulk. Now we are Iron Woman and the Incredible Mulk. At the toy sales we got all giddy cause they had the figurines in a two pack :P So now i have an Iron man figurine and Mel has the Incredible Hulk!Incredible Hulk(left) and Iron Man (right) merchandise
